Karnese Tarot: Death

A man has fallen on hands and knees amidst the charred remains of a forest fire. Behind him the stumps and underbrush are still blazing, and through the smoke a rising sun throws a halo of sunbeams. In the foreground, two white flowers bloom on a fallen log.
